The Lido

We had to go and see our holiday rep and ended up booking a boat trip for tomorrow- Gozo and Comino with added speed boat.
We took a walk up past the Aquarium and had lunch at a wee sea side kiosk- I had my first Maltese ftira- I say first as I’m hoping it won’t be my last. Delicious but huge and no one slaw would touch it because of the olives so I took the rest home for my tea.
Nelly partes with some of her holiday money for an inflatable donut and we spent the afternoon at the lido.
Nelly made tea- in our inept ways when abroad we mistakenly bought gluten free pasta so I was glad of my leftover ftira.
We played cards and had a few ciders, the girls entertained us with some dancing.
