Poppies!

8°C  -  23 mph Wind  -  Light Rain  -  Cloudy  -  Sunny patches  -  Visibility 13 miles.  I keep blipping the ‘last Poppy of the year’, but it never is  -  how silly is that!  I noticed these two yesterday looking very vibrant  -  they were still looking very alive this morning.  What intrigued me was that the yellow one has an orange rim to its petals  -  if you look carefully it does show up in the shot. I had to bring them in to blip them, because they were dancing about in the wind too much for a good capture.
I tried various settings  -  I quite liked the under-exposed result in the extra (f4.5  1/400  ISO-1600).
