Unforgettable

We’d a great day today on a lovely sunny day. We bought a hop on hop off bus ticket and spent most of the day wandering around the Capitol and the various monuments leading up to the Lincoln memorial. I’ve seen this area so often on TV and in films but in truth it’s far more impressive than I’d imagined ( and not too busy at this time of the year ). This evening we got half price tickets to see a Nat King Cole tribute at the Kennedy Centre. This involved us getting to grips with the Metro ( took a while to work out how to get a ticket ) and an early dinner. I enjoyed the concert but doubt few of the audience would have seen Alice Cooper 2 weeks ago.
