FADED BEAUTY

Hello all, thank you all so much for all the hearts and stars for Derwenter Sunburst yesterday.  It means a lot and I'm so delighted that you all liked it so much.

Today has been a busy day.  Just taking ornaments and extraneous stuff out of the lounge ready for the fire to be ripped out on Monday.  Feeling quiet nervous about it, but hopefully it will be great once its one.  Part  of me still feels we should have gone for a proper log burner, but then we've made that decision so will be going with that now.  

Just a set of the LUMIX photos from York that hubby took to sort out now and then they will all be done.  Then back onto the courses and sorting out photography files.

The photo is of one of the yellow roses from the garden.  It has bloomed yet again, so many times this year - it's past its best now but still looks rather lovely in it's fading days.
