Water of Life

Whilst 'enjoying' a second night at my temporary abode my thoughts ponder over a recent proposal by some Scottish politicians to add a production tax on Whisky made in Scotland. Why? Obviously not heard the one about the goose and the golden egg.

It reminded me of a delightful quote by Compton Mackenzie: -

"Love makes the world go round? Not at all. Whiskey makes it go round twice as fast."

Think the politicians have had one dram too much!
