Taunton Day 4
We checked out of the Premier Inn after breakfast this morning. We had decided that we would make a detour on the way home that involved driving up the west of the Quantock Hills, and down the eastern side as far as Nether Stowey.
In this village is the National Trust property which for three years was Samual Coleridge's cottage. In celebration of the famous poet I have actually posted a photo I took yesterday in Watchet of a statue of the Ancient Mariner. It was in Watchet he had the inspiration for his poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and I think today is a more appropriate day to publish it.
Today's picture is one I took of his cottage and is in the extras.
