Almost 24 hours of heavy rain it has left its mark nearby and as we walked up the main road beside torrents of water, we tried to dislodge some of the leaves which were blocking the drains every few metres. The farmers must be anxious to see many recently planted fields with so much water but glad that the potatoes were harvested from the field (extra) and a contrast to last Saturday’s view.
