#27, the grandson, has just plucked the ball out of thin air. CAL lost to Oregon State, but it was a good close game, most of which I did not understand.

The Extra is a shot of the T-shirt shooting machine, a fascinating catapult that throws folded souvenir shirts high into the stands. If you enlarge this and look carefully in the center of the top third of the frame, you might see a golden lozenge-shaped object in the smoke. This is the tightly wrapped shirt, on its accelerated way to an excited fan. Why these flying objects never knock anyone silly is a mystery to me. By the way, the woman at the bottom of the frame is not wearing a rainbow tutu, but carrying several large bundles of cotton candy wrapped in plastic.
