Tube 150

In 1863 a section of the London Underground between Paddington and Farringdon moved passengers on an invite-only train. This marks the 150 anniversary of The Tube (although it opened to fare-paying passengers 150 years ago tomorrow so I'm sure there will be some debate and explains the date on this picture).

I went to Farringdon to see if they were doing anything to mark the occasion and this seems to be about the only reference to the anniversary in the tickets offices.
