Weight loss journey- progress report 20102019

Starting weight (25 May 2018 = 273lb)
Today’s weight = 179.0lb
Average weight last week = 179.3lb
Average weight this week = 178.7lb
Weight loss this week = 0.6lb
Note: I weigh every day first thing and calculate weight loss based on average weight for the week.

Well I should be happy with this as it’s a loss of 0.6lb over the week and it could easily have been quite a gain with two meals out with the Binnie’s and 3 of their grandchildren. However, I was good with only main meals with limited white carbs and Americano’s instead of sweets. Empty calories were also limited with tap water filling in the gaps between 2 glasses of red wine. Now back on track in terms of meals as can be seen in photo of Friday’s evening meal in extras.
The loss is even more pleasing since exercise was constrained by reaction to flu inoculation on Wednesday – feeling weak, sweaty and an arm like a lump of lead. Missed out on gym sessions on Wednesday and Thursday and Spin class on Thursday. Glad to say all is well now and attended yoga and cardio dance classes on Friday.
Let’s hope this weight loss is the start of a negative trend being re-established and that it’s losses next week and thereafter until my goal weight is achieved.
