Fancy buttons

I'm always on the look out for fancy buttons which find their way to my little button tin - and sometimes I find an excuse to use them!

I've just started making crocheted gifts for the month of December and this is the first one: a crocheted envelope to keep paper napkins in!

I've chosen retro colours just because I felt like it!

In case anyone wants to know how it's made, there is no pattern, just a giant  granny square folded and sewn up like an envelope.

Now the sun is out and I'm going for a walk!
