Raining

It has been raining again, sadly. Some rain is good, but I'm beginning to see pools developing in fields. 

I have had a quiet day pottering about. My youngest is watching a 'horror' film a day in October - although he stretches the genre a little. Thursday was Alien, Saturday was Aliens and today (this afternoon) was the original IT. Surprisingly close to the book, which meant, like the book, it was good until the 'boss fight' at the end. Stephen King never seems to be good at the scary ending; he builds fear really well, but then it seems to dissolve into cliché at the end. Still, I enjoyed it.
