Dogwood

A quiet day today, not much motivation to go far as it has been cold and grey most of the day, the sun made an appearance at about 3.30pm. These leaves of the dogwood are fresh and bright still, but will gradually darken and fall leaving the lovely red branches to give some winter colour.....R has just dug out one of the rosa rugosas for me, a rogue plant grown from a sucker, the prickles are horrendous.....his jobs are mounting up and I will have to settle my bill I think, but it will only be a nominal amount:)
