Back From The Annual

It’s been a few weeks in the waiting but every year the little plane has to go through it’s annual medical and this time a reconditioned carburetor and fuel pump was required to bring it up to standard - the big positive was the engine is now so much smoother and is flying about 10 kts faster. Tuesday I have to have a flight review with an instructor to check I am still competent so I went up to practice stalls and emergency landings etc. if you look in the background there is a little 2 seater Colombia landing in the background - we both landed within 5 mins of each other here at Hillsboro - and then funnily enough the same thing happened back at Grand Prairie as he landed right in front of me on my return.
