Coming Home to Roost

Went to Powderham this morning for a walk with Carolyn. We had intended to take all the dogs for an amble but, as she is still very teary about Ruby, I thought a trip to see the deer was a much better option.
As it turned out, all the little buggers were miles away but it was still a pleasant walk in the warm sunshine.

By the afternoon I was still without a blip so went for a drive up onto the moor. Of course the sun went in behind thick clouds so I headed back home via my favourite trees.
The light didn't disappoint :-)
