Our temporary abode

It feels like we're on holidays here in Marina di Grosseto at Gianluca's. We never come here during the summer as it is overrun with tourists but now, outside the season, it's fabulous. So tranquil and quiet. The beach, which we see from the terrace, is huge and deserted. And water calls to me, as ever.

We cook dinner for Gianluca and Sandra for when they come home in the evenings, so there is a really nice blend of quiet days and social evenings.
