'Chick Magnet'

C and I took TARA and Fletcher to the Annual K9 SplashBash here in Gainesville. When Westside Park Pool prepares to close for the winter, they invite dogs from the community to a good old fashioned 'Pool Party'! Since they must drain and clean the pool anyway, what better way to end their season? There were well over 100 doggos and their fun-loving owners there this morning. Big dogs, tiny dogs and every size in between! I even met a blind and deaf dog named Blu! Tara loved retrieving her (actually Fletcher's) toy but Fletcher never did get in the water. He loves the ponds at the DogPark but hasn't warmed up to pools yet. take a quick look at my *extras...Fletcher watching cheering TARA on as she retrieves his toy! AND Doggie Ice Cream for All! There was also a raffle in which I won a couple of items, surprisingly! Andof course there was a Halloween Costume Contest, the photo above was of one of the Winners. Two guys in drag and their 'Chick Magnet'! Too cute! I couldn't find TARA'S costume and Fletcher has a habit of trying to eat anything that comes within his reach, so...maybe next year!
