Peak District day 1

We dropped the dogs off at the kennels this morning and then drove up to the Peak District. After a quick bite to eat we headed to Edale. We scrambled up Grindsbrook Clough as pictured and then across the flank of Kinder Scout and back to Edale. It was only 8 miles but hardish. Well I haven’t been walking for years. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We are staying at Losehill Hall YHA. A gothic mansion house. Fab!
