Lord of the Flies

A trip bird watching today but no photo opportunities as all the close birds turned camera shy and the rest to far out at sea.
So I will have to blip a shot of a dragonfly 2 days running sorry about that. I took a few shots of this common darter sunning itself on a gatepost but preferred this distant one with the flies also enjoying the early afternoon sun. A fairly enjoyable day with a few good birds and this week it stayed dry for us . Home now for a relaxing evening.
