Workshop

When I was in India around this time last year, I developed the habit of walking through open doors into buildings to see what I could find.  I have been applying the same technique today in Istanbul. 

We passed by the open door to this workshop, which looked interesting, so I wandered in to have a look. The guys inside didn't seem surprised or disturbed and did not object to me taking photographs.  The shelves around the walls were stacked high with car alternators and other automotive electrical parts.  These men were repairing and refurbishing them.  Their huge stock will keep them busy for months, if not years.

Another enjoyable and productive day.
