Disabled American Veterans Memorial

This is quite near the Capitol building (extra) and is a very moving monument. It was pouring rain and was difficult to keep the lens dry. I had to wipe it several times even with the umbrella. 
On the way home we drove by the Nationals stadium and I took a shot while stopped at a traffic light (another extra.) It is super exciting that our home team is going to the World Series!! Tickets are over $1,000 for a seat and $600 for standing, so we won't be going.
