It's A Minute To Midnight

Andrew Davies

The date to photograph him has been on the cards for a year. Hes a BBC screen writer and dramatist. He screen wrote my favourite period drama, Pride and Prejudice. Not the recent one, but the best and only one with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth in.

The room he did the talk in about his writing career was dark and he was right in front of exit signs and it was a horrible messy background so I wasn't happy with any of the shots. After the talk I asked if I could get a couple of quick shots (really quick) with a clear background. This was one I was happy with. Thank goodness because I didn't want to have waited that long and get nothing I was happy with.
Andrew is 83 years old. Hes still writing and working hard. His latest screen writing was Sanditon.  Maybe you've seen it?
Garri let me postpone our holiday to Scotland for this so holiday starts now.
Our trip to Mull, which my wonderful Dad and I booked for us all to go. So we are going, in memory of my Dad. He said he wanted us to go even if he wasn't here.  Very sad but we must go for him. He will be with us I know he will.
