Rosehips

During my last dog walks I was collecting rosehips. I try to dry them.
They should be a Christmas present for my friends horse. My friend herself doesn't want any Christmas present this year :-)
When I came to turn the rosehips around, I discovered two of my Hanullis between the rosehips. They were discussing what would be the best methode to preserve rosehips. I'm curious about their tips.
