We finally got up early this morning and went for a longer hike right away after breakfast. On the way there were many pretty houses and one had a big dog that was loose and barking aggressively, but fortunately he let us pass without injury.
The sun did not shine so I did some maintenance work, which was very satisfying. The only major thing left to do is to find a way of stopping birds from coming in through the chimney, there is no damper in it.
