Bit chaotic this am - A’s very elderly mum and dad not at all good so he was back and forth to their bungalow sorting out what he could and on phone to siblings re future. M then phoned to be collected from friends- really painful ear infection. Finally got out about 11.30 and headed off to Cromford. Roads very busy- everyone going to the Dales on a sunny autumn day. Artisan market was disappointingly small , but S bought 50th birthday present from a potter I bought lots of stuff from about 25 years ago. He is 80 and still going strong! quiet evening I’m apart from lots of sympathising with M who was in a lot of pain when ibuprofen/ paracetamol wore off
