Patterns

Normous had finished his library books, and he prefers me to choose new ones so that was one of my jobs this morning. Libraries used to be hushed places but there was a toddler group in the children’s section today. They were joining in happy songs, “Incy Wincy Spider”, “Two little dickie birds” and many other familiar tunes that I used to sing to my children and grandchildren. I was tempted to join in today!
Our library is housed in a former Victorian school building. At a time when cuts are threatened across the board, I know we are lucky to retain this valuable asset.
