Pumpkin parliament

This forecourt of a local farm shop bizarrely reminds me of what’s going on in Westminster, a place currently full of pumped-up vegetables achieving not very much. Have just been watching tv coverage of that perverse little pumpkin in the Speaker’s chair. How depressing to watch the ongoing prevarication and pomposity in Parliament. It’s all a wearying reminder of how close we are to October 31st.
