Definitely Autumn!

This afternoon we took a trip over to Sleaford

Firstly we spent a while in a lovely shop there ...... not to mention a fair bit of money!

We then went to Mareham Pastures ...... a small nature reserve in the town. We were greeted by a line of Starlings twittering away ........ had we been followed? We thought we had left them at home! lol

We had a lovely wander round ...... saw lots of Shaggy Inkcap ....... there were also a few Hips & Haws left on the bushes ...... a lot of them had already been eaten!

There were lots of small birds tweeting in the bushes ..... but they didn't want to show themselves .... but the sound was a lovely accompaniment to our walk :-)

We got back to the car just as it started raining ...... result! Thankfully it had stopped again by the time we got home ..... so we managed to stay dry!
