THE DRUNKEN JUG
I made quite a few of these back when I had a pottery workshop. I did manage to sell a few, but most of them I gave away - have to own up to being commercially inept.
This is the last one. In my defence, it pours beautifully without spilling a drop & is perfect for adding good water to good whisky!
For your information it is "slab-built" - I cut slabs from a block of clay pulling stainless steel bindings from bass guitar strings through it!
The glaze is a "Tenmoku" with 15% red iron oxide & it's fired to 1300°C in a reducing atmosphere.
