"We never thought..."

So said a person today, who shall remain nameless. Both she and a family member voted Leave in 2016, being concerned about immigration, and thinking that the UK would be much better off financially without the EU. Neither of them imagined that the Leave Campaign would win at the ballot box. If she had the chance to vote again now, she said she'd vote Remain. I wonder, will we get a second referendum? Somehow I doubt it.

Be that as it may, I'm back, and have some catching up to do. I've had a radical haircut. I've had lots of visitors, and Steve has returned from Spain. Work continues, as ever, and the weather is getting far colder.
