The Truce - 'All Together Now'

A busy day today which included a trip into Liverpool where I found a lens repair shop. It is a tiny shop in a back street and you have to ring the door bell to get in but the good news is they think they can repair my lens.
As I was walking through town I noticed this statue and thought it must be new, only to find it was unveiiled in 2014! It was designed by Andy Edwards and stands outside St Luke's Church which the locals call the bombed- out church. It was almost destroyed by an incendiary bomb in the blitz of May 1941. It has remained as a shell since then as a memorial to all those who died in the war.
