Boring Complete

Well today we saw phase one of what our research has determined is a water main project outside the studio. Today they pulled this pipe under the main road out front to this point, all while traffic flowed North and South all day long!  They used a ditch-witch to burrow from the stop line to an excavated point about 70 yards away. Then they attached the larger auger head and the pipe you see here and pulled it back through the pilot hole!
This pic shows the workmen detaching the auger head before cleaning it and closing up shop for the day.  Onward......
