Family of ducks

I had a dental appointment this morning, which i was way too early for, we went into Neil Hawkins regional park just around the corner just to kill some time, no-one wants to be too early for a dental appointment!
We spotted this family of ducks waddling across the footpath as we made our way to the boardwalk (extras) then Glyn spotted them in the reeds, it was so funny as they all jumped onto the submerged log, one of them kept slipping  off into the water, you can see the awkward one, he has his back to the camera, i think he was a bit too embarrassed to turn around.

Glyn's Mum is making a speedy recovery, news last night was very good indeed, mum was sitting in the day room chatting with other ladies in Pendean, and was no worse for wear, the nursing staff are keeping a close eye on her but apart from a slight infection she still has she is doing remarkably well, a tough one for sure. 

My toe!? is very painful and i am suspecting it might be  broken? i will give it a day or two if i cant put my foot on the floor better than today i will be off to the docs!
