This Banksia is one of a number of local and native plants that have been laser cut into oxidised metal and make up part of the welcome frieze to junior's old school here in the Perth Hills.

Just love the simplicity of the designs and how the patina has changed in colour and texture over the couple of years this has been in place, and will no doubt continue to do so for years to come.

One of the 'houses/factions' at the school is Banksia and the other plants represented may well be those of the other 'houses'.
