Astley Hall

On my way back from Eccleston I saw the sign to Astley Hall, Park and Gardens.  We all know what it's like to be Blipless, so I diverted and had a nosey.
The Hall (see extra) has been there for over 400 years and has a wealth of history within - plus some lovely plaster ceilings and remarkable oak furniture.  It also had a fellow Blipper to welcome visitors!!.. She was Juleshki (2nd extra) - who began Blipping back in 2010. She's had a few 'rests' inbetween but indicated she might get back into the habit again.  I hope she does.
