Ely in Autumn
Today I met my great friends M, D & V from Milton Keynes at Ely, the half way point for us. There was lots of catching up on each others news over tea and cake and then lunch, with a walk to the river and a successful mooch round the charity shops thrown in. I love how we are able to just pick up where we left off many months ago and get into the old groove of walking and chatting.
Note: Finally parliament has approved the second reading of the Brexit bill, albeit not on the timetable proposed. A step forward at last.
