Orchid's encore

Today the first bud opened on this orchid's fourth flowering season. Bought it in bloom in the spring of 2015. Its Sainsbury's supermarket label advised me to 'discard after flowering'. Blow that for a game of soldiers! I repotted it in the winter of that year and it flowered afresh in the spring of 2016. It then waited till late autumn of 2018 to flower for a third time and now, 11 months on, it's in bloom again. So glad that I ignored the label. 

Spent much of this morning gardening in glorious, warm sunshine. Probably too long, as my back is still painful, so missing table tennis again this week.
