Didn’t get any painting done today because we went to Melton. Always fun to browse round the market stalls - such interesting things there that you don’t seem to see anywhere else. I bought a lovely silver cake slice for £3, it’s engraved with leaves and I have no idea how old it is. Got plenty of lovely fresh fruit from the fruit market too. The plant lady was there and Jim bought this magnificent cactus for me which is now on the kitchen windowsill next to the orchids. I used to have one of these when I was a kid but not as big as this one.
