My father ...

... when he was young, of course. Today is his 89 years old birthday. According to the Chinese tradition, men (not women) celebrate their 90 years old birthday when they are 89 (don’t ask me why :-)). Happy birthday, father!

I don’t go back to China for the celebration. He has dinner with his old students and old colleagues together. Called him and he seems very happy.

He unfortunately has had a lung infection since a while before and therefore stayed in a hospital for a while... Hope he gets recovered soon
