Getting busy
This first week back at work ramped up to busy pretty quickly, and I'm just all sorts of stress these days. It was nice to get a good shot at the beginning of the day, at a little field on my way to the grocery store before work. One less thing to think about during the day.
Did a little mucking around with the aperture on this one. I'm starting to actually understand how changing it affects the focus and effects the shot. For this one, I had it at 1.8 and focused on something farther out. This resulted in the shrubbery in the foreground almost completely blurring out and ended up looking kind of like fire to me. There's definitely a lot of flaws in the shot, but it's nice to feel like I'm actually progressing with this new skill I'm undertaking. I was nervous about being able to take a decent photo every day when I signed up for Blip, but almost one month in and I'm so glad I did it.
