Lake Hawea

We had a real cold snap last night with hail stones and snow showers over the hills. We walked / biked the Hawea Track today- stopping off at the cafe for a coffee at the half way mark. 
The lake was looking super- so calm. It’s a wonderfully expansive, crystal clear lake and incredibly cold to swim in, (not that we would at this time of the year). 
Spent the afternoon gardening in the sun, so very different from yesterday.
