Persistent flowers and eclectic reading pile

After the rude awakening by the fire alarm going off last night at 11.30pm, I did get back to sleep, but never as deeply as before the alarm went off. Or so the fitbit data indicated.

Feeling somewhat dozy this morning, I cancelled the one commitment I had made, which was to attend a meeting in town, and stayed home all day and spent a lot of the day in a prone position with my feet up.

And that's really all there is to be said about today.
