Commemorated

A trip into town in the sunshine this morning and we spotted this plaque on our way back to the car park via the favourite shop. I'd never seen it before but there was apparently some controversy when it was taken down during the building work. I wonder how many people have spotted it in its 'new' location. 

I managed to resist in the favourite shop and we came home for lunch before we walked back around to the shops for a few things. Bailey was a bit weary by the time we got back but still required another walk in the dark before settling in various locations this evening.
