Wide Wednesday - Sea

How could I not participate in a wide Wednesday challenge that almost seems tailor-made for where I live. Yesterday while kayaking, I noticed how the waves were crashing on the rock that holds this statue. I even shot a few photos from the water, but knew they would be better from the recently rebuilt pedestrian pathway that passes directly by it. Fortunately the waves were still breaking and the sun was out. Certainly shows the power of the sea, even in our protected bay.
