Storm season is neigh and if a bad one hits, we can go 10 days without power.  I can live without most things, but there's one thing I'm really worried about.

This new camera needs the battery charged every 5 to 7 days (it only takes about 800 photos per charge).  I got some USB chargeable spare batteries and these battery packs.  I figure it would keep me happy for 2 weeks.  And they double as a super-bright light.  

The next step - set up some sort of semi-permanent solar charging station with a battery that trickles charges from solar but can recharge these battery packs and other gadgets.
