New Plymouth

We were intending to see Mt Taranaki today, but the weather was not at all promising so we took the bus into New Plymouth and asked in the i-Site (tourist info) what they might suggest for a grey and windy day.  The town museum was interesting as was the history trail but Pukekura Park which is more of a botanical gardens than a park was the highlight.  As a blip I have chosen this reflection of the White Hart hotel, as seen in the Govett-Brewster art gallery. We're in the bottom right - which is probably one of the very few selfies I am ever likely to take!
