Unexpected ....

The local council has run out of cash and as a result the verges along our road and the other roads in the area are growing quite an array of interesting plants. 
Earlier this summer I blipped a sunflower that was growing down the road from us, and today I finally managed to photograph this pretty pink Toadflax type plant that I have had my eye on all summer. It is obviously a garden escapee, but seems to enjoy just growing in a tiny crack between the road and the kerb. 
Mind you I am not complaining , it is really pretty.
