Bang bang

Because of Owen going for an operation on Thursday I had to rearrange my night shift this week which meant that today I was coming straight off a night shift and tasked with looking after the little one.

As a result of being so tired I was completely unable to think of interesting things to do with Owen aside from playing with toys and books. I was feeling like a terrible father until Louisa suggested trying finger painting or his sensory box. Finger painting seemed confusing and he sat there just looking at the paint on his hand but the sensory box was a great success, especially when he realised the amount of noise he could make with the metal tray!
