It’s dark and cold in John Street. Brighton road is closed. There’s heavy traffic getting into the A1. Meandering home through Wallyford and Dalkeith is blessedly easy.

I’ve got a long list of work things to do which I’ll never get done. And some comments from Matt in my next blog post that need resolving. Oh, and there’s a two hour workshop this afternoon.

Nick returns late afternoon in his new Polo. The Subaru sprang a leak in the fuel pipe and was condemned by the garage. At least it went to the scrappy with working CD and sunroof.
