Beanie

I'm not a big fan of fancy dress parties (in fact I think I last accepted an invite to one 25 years ago) but I'm quite looking forward to my friend Vicki's 40th next week.

The theme is "Rock or Rave" and I've gone for "Rave". It lets me revisit an enjoyable (but very very brief) period in life when I spent a fair amount of time in the clubs of Manchester, especially The Hacienda. I also got to hang out with The Chemical Brothers (when they were in a band called Ariel). Fun times, but believe you me I was an outsider looking in.

Anyway, I've amassed a fair old collection of stuff for the party. Of particular pride is this Kangol Beanie hat I got off eBay. Sorted (as I believe the kids once said).
